Jigsaw utilizes FEMA and DHS resources to protect critical infrastructure during Hurricane Florence

Whether it is weather or malicious cyber activity targeting critical infrastructure, the Jigsaw Security team is constantly utilizing resources to best protect our critical communications systems as well as the systems of our customers. With the pending hurricane (Florence) targeting our offices, we are operating under our Contingency Operations Plan which allows us to continue to support our customers while protecting our own infrastructure and personnel.

Over the next few days we will be monitoring the situation and performing check-ins with customers, employees, partners and other to ensure that all supported services remain online and operational.

"This significant weather event while hazardous to our customers located in the path of the hurricane and our office, will allow us to test our operational response and capabilities over the next several days". Jigsaw Security does not anticipate any operational outages as a result of the storm as our servers are located well outside the path of the storm.

Since we operate in both normal and abnormal operational states every single day as part of our Jigsaw Threat Mitigation Model, we believe that there will be no operational issues as a result of this storm system.

While preparing for this event, Jigsaw Security has been utilizing the resources from DHS and FEMA to both prepare our customers and to keep in secure communications with customers and ensure that customer security operations continue to operate regardless of what weather events occur.

The safety of our customers is our highest priority during the next several days. Customer may dial 1-800-447-2150 Ext. 6 to request assistance or may email our on call paging system. Staff will be monitoring our web messenger as well as phone lines during the storm and associated events.
